Speaker Series

Time: 9:00 AM- 1:00 PM
Venue: Religious Rehabilitation Group
Category: For Members Only
The Speaker Series by OnePeople.sg is a platform to discuss racial and religious issues within a safe space. There are issues which may have a profound impact on the ground and our diverse community. For the upcoming session, participants will visit the Resource and Counselling Centre of the Religious Rehabilitation Group (RRG). With the ISIS threat extending its reach across the globe into Southeast Asia, Singapore and her neighbours now face several interrelated threats, including terrorist attacks and the radicalization. How has this affected our security, and what have we done to combat terrorism? The visit will include a dialogue on the threats of terrorism and how it impacts social cohesion. Participants will get to have a dialogue with a key member of RRG where participants will better understand the work that they do and the resources available.
