The annual National IRCC Workshop 2013 themed “Resilience in the face of adversity” was held on 28 September at the Marina Mandarin Ballroom. The highlight of this year’s Workshop was a Forum Theatre titled “Bind or Blind”, conducted with the objective to provide participants with an interactive platform to share their perspectives on racial and religious issues. The Forum Theatre was warmly received – participants aired their views spontaneously and many went on stage personally to show how they would have reacted and dealt with the issues. Following the Forum Theatre, the participants were engaged in a lively session of breakout discussion to exchange their viewpoints in response to the Forum Theatre.
