As community leaders, IRCC members may be required to manage or handle ground incidents with racial or religious overtones. Hence, it is important for IRCC members to have an acute sense on ground issues that may potentially escalate and skills on managing community conflicts so that early interventions will help to control the situations.
The upcoming run of the “Ground Sensing Workshop” aims to raise the participants’ awareness on current ground issues, as well as equip them with skills and techniques on ground sensing. Participants will also be able to practice their skills learnt through interactive role-plays which are based on real life cases / scenarios.
This workshop is open to members only. Interested members may contact your respective IRCC coordinators for more information.
